Environment & Sustainability
Brookland Greens, as the name suggests, is all about green open spaces.
Tree-lined streets, attractive streetscapes, cycle ways and Woodlands Park (7 hectares of existing native bushland) are all part of this focus on nature.
One of the principle goals in the estates design has been to link a series of landscaped parklands with the adjoining well-established Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens. The landscaping and re-vegetation of Woodlands Park will provide an excellent walking trail for all residents to the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The Royal Botanic Gardens display some of Melbourne's best remnant indigenous vegetation and a thriving collection of bird and animal life, including several rare and endangered species. But the remnant vegetation doesn't end at the Botanic Gardens - some smaller patches are left in the surrounding area, particularly around Brookland Greens, providing important habitat linkages for native animals.

Peet is a major force in the HIA GreenSmart program, being an accredited GreenSmart Regional Partner in Western Australia and the first company in Victoria to construct a GreenSmart display village (Innisfail Estate).
