Environment & Sustainability

Brookland Greens was named after the gardens and open spaces that surround the estate, as well as the parks that exist within the community.

Seven hectares of native bushland have been preserved, forming the Woodlands Park, which connects a series of landscaped parklands to the adjoining Royal Botanic Gardens.

The Royal Botanic Gardens display some of Melbourne's best remnant indigenous vegetation and a thriving collection of bird and animal life, including several rare and endangered species.

As well as the neighbouring gardens, Brookland Greens contains cycle ways and family friendly parks and facilities, which are in place for the enjoyment of the whole community.
